Mr. Callender joined the Firm as an associate in 2004, following his exceptional service in the Judge Advocate General's Corps, wherein he tried nearly 100 cases as a Navy prosecutor. Prior to that time, Mr. Callender served as a federal law clerk to Chief Judge H.F. "Sparky" Gierke of the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
Mr. Callender handles all of the Firm's criminal cases. In addition, Mr. Callender's significant trial experience is often called upon in the many medical malpractice cases defended by the Firm. Since becoming a civilian attorney, Mr. Callender has won defense verdicts in several of Maryland's Circuit Courts.
